What we collect
Account & contact information: name, email, password or auth tokens, subscription status, support messages.
Usage & device data: app interactions, diagnostics, crash logs, device and OS info.
Payment data: handled by our payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers.
Health & fitness data (you choose to provide): workout activity, exercise logs, heart rate, and other fitness metrics. If you connect device or platform data (e.g., Google Fit/Health Connect), we receive only the categories you grant permission for.
How we use information

We do not sell your personal information.
Sources & integrations
You may enter data manually, or allow collection through your device permissions/settings. If you connect third-party health services (e.g., Google Fit/Health Connect), their terms apply to their handling of data on their platforms.
Sharing & service providers
We share personal information only with service providers who process data on our behalf to operate and support the Services (e.g., hosting, analytics, coaching/delivery platforms, customer support, email). For transparency, our coaching platform provider is Everfit Technologies, Inc., acting primarily as our processor. See Everfit’s privacy policy at https://everfit.io/privacy/. We require service providers to protect your information and use it only as instructed by us.
Health data handling
Health data is collected only with your explicit consent and used exclusively to deliver App functionality. Access is limited to authorized personnel. We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls).

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (e.g., access, correction, deletion, portability). Contact us to exercise these rights.
Retention
We keep personal and health data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify associated personal and health data, subject to lawful retention requirements (e.g., transaction records).
Account & data deletion
In-app: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account to initiate deletion.
Web: If you no longer have the App, submit a request at https://citizenathletics.com/account-deletion/.
We’ll verify your request (name and email) and delete your account and associated personal/health data. We may retain limited data if required by law or legitimate business needs (e.g., fraud prevention, accounting). Content you shared with others (e.g., comments) may remain visible to them.
Cookies & website analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies on citizenathletics.com to operate the site and understand usage. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not function properly without certain cookies.
Children
The Services are intended for adults 18+. If we learn that we collected personal information from a minor, we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
Your information may be processed outside your province/state or country. We take steps to ensure appropriate protections in line with applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We’ll post changes here and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we’ll provide additional notice (e.g., in-app notice or email).

Account Deletion Verification
To delete your Citizen Athletics V2 account and associated data, use one of the options below. We’ll verify your identity and complete deletion, subject to lawful retention requirements (e.g., transaction records).
Option 1 — In the App
Open the App and go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
Option 2 — Online Request (no app required)
Fill out the form on this page or email hello@CitizenAthletics.com with the subject “delete my account.” Include your full name and the email tied to your account.
What happens next

We’ll confirm receipt within a reasonable timeframe.

We’ll delete your account and associated personal and health data, except where we must retain limited records for legal or administrative purposes.

If you have multiple accounts, please submit a request for each.
